Limbic Brain Anatomy Course - review

This 2-day programme, introduced in 2013, was developed and expanded from our very popular 1-day course "Neuroanatomy for Psychiatry" to include additional material suitable for a much wider audience within clinical neurology, psychiatry - and the imaging neurosciences.

The original course has been reviewed by Dr Afsaneh Tajer (Consultant Neuropsychiatrist, National Centre for Brain Injury Rehabilitation) in the newsletter of the British Neuropsychiatry Association (BNPA).

Psychiatry conference presentation - review

Dr Johns addressed the British Neuropsychiatry Association (BNPA) conference in 2009 as an invited speaker and, together with Professor Michael Trimble (emeritus professor and consultant in behavioural neurology, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery) gave a special presentation on the limbic system.

The presentation by Dr Johns was later described by Dr Raj Mann (specialist psychiatry trainee, Leicester) as:

"the most assured and absorbing neuroanatomy lecture this spectator has ever witnessed"
